I have been intrigued with the idea of making my own yogurt for a couple of years. I added it to my current goal list, so I would have a bigger incentive to actually do it.
About a month ago, Trent of The Simple Dollar (one of my all-time favorite blogs) wrote a post about making yogurt in the crock pot. This seemed a lot simpler than the other methods I had read about, so I decided to give it a go.
We are now on our fourth batch and it is wonderful! ...easy, yummy, and significantly cheaper than buying yogurt at the store - which is good because we eat a lot of yogurt.
If you are intrigued, I encourage you to give it a try.
As we speak I am drinking a smoothie made from my first batch of homemade yogurt :) Thanks for passing this along...it is easy enough for even ME to accomplish and will save us some moolah!
