In 2010, I read 58 books and 65.5% of the Bible. I am currently reading the book of Daniel (in the Bible) and Death of a Salesman.
Of the 58:
- 6 were for the Christian Readers Group at church
- 4 were for the book club I am in with my friends
- 15 were non-fiction (and there were a few memoirs, which fall into that gray area between fiction and non-fiction)
- 8 were the Anne of Green Gables series
Here are my top six books of the year (in no particular order):
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer
The Robe by Lloyd C. Douglas
Shanghai Girls by Lisa See
A Million Miles in a Thousand Years by Donald Miller
The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin
Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott
58?!? Go, brooke! I read 10. I could give you my favorites, though. Happiness Project and Eating Animals. Now I want to read your favorites! And I AM GOING to read more than 10 books this year. Starting with the one you loaned me which I am enjoying very much!
