New Goals

As many of you know, I have been working on completing 101 goals in 1001 days. Well, my computer (on which I was keeping track of which goals had been met and how far along I was on others) broke at the end of September. Since then, I have lost track of exactly what had been accomplished before September 25th and I have not kept a very good record for the goals I have met over the past three months. Adding to the confusion, Brian and I got engaged on September 26th and many of the goals that I had originally outlined in July of 2007 no longer seemed fitting.

So, I am waving a fond farewell to my first big goal list and am happily satisfied with the fact that I accomplished more than 80% of the items on the list. As of January 1, 2010, I will begin working on a new set of 101 goals. I am VERY MUCH looking forward to this, as I have felt a bit lost, without my list, these past three months.

The new list includes:
  • 8 goals related to reading
  • 16 goals related to creative pursuits (writing, photography, crafts, etc.)
  • 15 financial goals
  • 13 housing related goals (selling, building, decorating, etc.)
  • 5 wedding related goals (those should all be met by June 19, 2010!)
  • and 43 other goals relating to a great variety of things (travel, entertainment, mabel and lots of fun)

  1. I am so excited for you to produce a new goal list! I need to revamp mine a bit too. We are such good list makers. Does one of your goals have to do with an Etsy shop?
