Growing

Miss Willa and her sweet parents have kindly loaned us all kinds of baby things.  One of those things is an adorable bassinet.

We had it beside our bed for several weeks and just over a week ago we moved it into Sam's room.  Just a short time later and it seems that he has now outgrown this tiny space.

So, last night, Sam spent his first night in his crib.

Speaking of outgrowing things, it seems to be happening right and left.  We put him in a pair of pajamas one night and the next night we can't get them over his shoulders because he is too long.  It is kind of crazy.

And do you notice how large our poor boy's bum and crotch look?  That's because he also outgrew his newborn cloth diapers.  His current diapers are "one size" diapers that you can adjust so that they will fit from now until he is potty trained.   For now, they look huge.

Sam's went to the doctor for his 2 month appointment yesterday, where all of this growing was confirmed.  He now weighs 12 pounds and 9 ounces (54th percentile).  He is 23 and 1/2 inches long (65th percentile) and his head is 16 inches around (90th percentile).  I guess he got the big ol' Petermann/Benson noggin.
